I was definitely looking at some Victorian etchings when I did this; and I noticed a bit of a Tick Tock resemblance as I was drawing it (could not be helped, it's a automaton with a mustache). Personally I prefer Alice in Wonderland to Wizard of Oz (probably because I never sat down to read the later).
Yeah, me too, actually. And I read both. ;) Alice is hilarious and strange... but I found the Wizard of Oz strangely unsettling. *lol* It was more creepy than magical.
