Been trying a few different materials for the collars.
The left one is aluminum, bottom one is steel and the right one is stainless steel.
The aluminum one also uses a magnetic latch. A rare earth magnet and a magnetic stainless steel shaft latch the collar together, works pretty good.
I *can* make the collars from steel or stainless but given the difficulty of sanding and polishing they will be very special order for now, it takes me triple the time to make.
Also the steel and stainless steels ones are quite heavy, not sure I would want to wear it for long.

Yes better looser than too tight but I dont want it to be too loose either...That measurement was taken using a seamstress tape and was not pulled tight. Still want it to sit at the base of my neck like it should and not be dangling around my collar bones like a larger one would. ^_^;
