Catsunes are a mystical mix of the infamous kitsunes of Japan and the enigmatic cats of everyday life. Because of this, they are naturally mischevious and cunning tricksters.
Like cats, they enjoy relaxing and don't do much work for themselves or others, and can be quite lazy. They love to trick others to do their bidding by tempting them with treats and treaures, and most of the time they will follow through... Unless you annoyed them somehow! Their emotions are easy to read from their tails and expressions, and they can be quite lovable if they want to be.

Physical:
Catsunes have may be any color, but their color depends on their environments in harsher climates. Their coats are made of soft, fluffy fur that feature markings of all kinds. They have large, fluffy tails that can range in number from 1 to 9. They also tend to have hair similar to humans.

NOTE: They do have normal, human-like genitalia. It is not shown because of fur.

Children/Kitsens:
Baby Catsunes, also known as Kitsens, are born with fine, downy fur and a large amount of fluff on their chest. Their eyes remain closed until they are around a year old, as it trains their inner eye before they gain the ability to see, giving them the classic "Kitsune" look.

Height+Weight:
Castunes stand at most 4 feet tall in their original forms, and can turn into roughly the size of a medium house cat if they please.
They are light due to their magical properties.

Catsunes, like their cousins the Kitsunes, have the ability to use magic. It's mostly wish-granting abilities, and like Cats they also have the ability to teleport, appear invisible, and persuade. They truly have the best of both worlds. They may shift between feral and anthropomorphic forms. They have "psychic" powers that they can train to become more powerful, but since they are a peaceful race they don't use them often.

Their physical prowess also rivals the cat, due to their ability to stand on two hind legs.They don't have much strength, but they use their powers to catch prey. Their jaws are powerful and their teeth are sharp.

Along with the ability to shift between feral and original forms, they can also shapeshift into other beings.

All Catsunes have these abilities, but their traits may enhance or debuff their abilities.
