This is a commission I did for 
notveryathletic of his character Tempest. I've gotta say, this probably one of my favorite commissions to date. And that, I think, says a lot considering how little I draw "furries" anymore. Who knows, maybe my man here might bring me back into it again, heh heh.

Honestly, and it's gonna sound totally retarded, but there's no really method to MY method. The pose just "pops" into my head, for lack of a better word. And I just kinda' twaek things here and there as I go. I guess it's mt "mood" to draw something that makes me actually draw out a certain pose and/or character that pops into my mind.
In this case, as it was a commission, I had the character given to me. He mentioned "dynamic" in what he wanted in the pose, and this instantly came t'mind.
If it helps, I had Killswitch, Five Finger Death Punch, and The Deftones playing while I did this, heh.

Well, it's always good to know how another artist's mind works.
And yeah, I like letting the music influence me too. These days I'm listening to the Need For Speed soundtracks along with some CastleVania remixes. When I do need to get wild, I look to Maximum the Hormone. :)
