Okay, so it's not "tomorrow. It's actually a week later. *snofts* So sue me. It's close in the general scheme of things, ja?
So- *claps her hands* first things first. I have a bazillion things to post, sure, but last night *head tilts* ...or was it the night before? *scratches at her neck* Y'know, they run together. Anypoop... The other night I watched a video on XBL about "Backwards Compatability" On the new XBone. *huffs* Not that I have any interest in buying one, but knowing that they'd actually fixed what many call a pretty horrid problem with a brand new $500 time-sink... well *neck pops* That might help my interest a tiny bit. Teeny tiny itsy bitsy little bit...
So... yeah. *chuckles* It's not. *Shakes her head* Nope.
*Smiles and traces the rim of her top-hat* Submitted for your approval, or at the very least your condescension- The following is, to the best of my recollection, how the experience of watching that video went...

Not gonna lie, that might have made me watch microsoft E3-ery
This is the only recap of theirs I'm interested in Gotten a bit tired of suit talk anyway...
Also, love the slow change of expression in the panels, I am imagining, hope, annoyed, surprise, pleasant surprise, malevolence aaaand.. Last one I can't really imagine one for, to be honest...

Thank you, love. *tips her hat*
Couldn't agree with you more about E3. *huffs* It's pretty sad how we've gotten such amazing technology in our mitts these days, compared to what 'gaming' started with, of course, but it seems like I'm less and less interested in the games for these new systems every year. *shakes her head* Looking over the XBONE library, I can't honestly see one game, not one that makes me think "Oh, indeed, I must have that system." And this is the first system generation like that...
And as for the emotions... *smiles wickedly* You have always had a knack for understanding me, haven't you...?

No problem, ma'am~
Personally, I got consoles for 2 reasons. Exclusives because I just Really wanted to play them, and ease of just popping in a disk and playing it. Now half of the games suggest you install them first, so might as well stick to PC, and more exclusives are coming to PC as well or are eventually just not worth it.
The most tempting looking console is the Wii U because it gets the most original content and tries to be more creative, from what I have seen... And I Really want the full Smash Bros/Legend of Zelda experience... But I am still feeling burned out from consoles. Just got my trusty PC and 3DS. Both of which seem to need regular upgrades every year or two/three to play optimally... Buuuuut, normal 3DS works for me and if I upgrade my PC fully I won't have to worry for quite a while. And yeah, early generation changes were ground breaking, from pixels to functionality, to 3 dimensions, to looking decent And running better, and now to... a handful of extra pixels, questionmark?
*Twitched an ear, smirking softly at seeing the wicked smile* What can I say.. I aim to understand people~? *Chuckles*

Different? *head tilts* Yes, love. I'd suppose so. Your artistry has changed a bit as well. *eyebrow arcs* Content maybe not so much *grins* but your technique, most certainly. Hmmnn... I wonder... *eyes narrow* We must talk sometime, you and I.
As for the systems, oh indeed, my dear. *smiles, measured* I want to be excited for the new systems and such, but frankly... There just ain't nothin' to be excited ofr, really. *sighs* It's been almost a full year, hasn't it? And still the XBone hasn't a title in it's, I hesitate to use the term, "Library", that I feel is remotely worth the cost of new system. *laughs* FPS, FPS, FPS, TPS, TPS, TPS... Mortal Kombat... er... Yeah. So far, I've yet to see anything on it that even justifies the new hardware.
I suppose the analogy I'd use for the game devs' argument for a higher-end platform to design on would have to be "If you can't hit the target with a shotgun, I'm not going to pay for you to fire a bazooka".

Now I moved to PC games. After I was playing forza horizon I did not have Xbox live yet mind you. While playing against the computer in the game I noticed that it was using cars I did not have DLC but I did not have Xbox live.....witch means it was locked content on the disc. That I already payed 60$ for and they wanted more money from me to unlock it by paying for it online to download a patch that reads it on the disc.......i sold my xbox360 all my games to repair my PC and never looked back at the bitter. Fucked up distasteful money grubbing wallet raping pig fucking blood fed companies that the console makers have become. I want to bathe in there blood to use the entrails to decorate my x-mas tree and out there skills and use as my bong and repeatedly rape them with a 3foot horse dildo spiked on the end of a 1950 Cadillac and tear them asunder yay violence
booo... heh i have that kinda monologue in my head in my head all the time! though it is more of a "I am a lying douche i want you to trust me so that i may fleece you later and slip my knife between your ribs while i take your wallet." oh companies... you don't care one bit about your consumers.
I had to really, really justify getting the 360 in the first place, everything Microsoft does these days in regard to gaming is divided into two efforts - douche baggary, and screwing the consumer. I've never had an interest in the XB-One, I hate how modern gaming is handled now, with all the downloading, and releasing an incomplete game only to convince you to buy the rest under the guise of "DLC." In my day you got extra characters and shit by unlocking it through skill.
I did get a Wii U but Nintendo is, so far, still mostly on the side of the righteous. We'll see how long that lasts. They're gonna have to, once again, resurrect the industry when Sony, Microsoft, and EA finally kill it. Though whenever I see people talking about how Steam is so much better, I kind of cringe. Just like everything else that's download-only, you don't really own your product. You rent it until your computer and their servers die or are discontinued when the company folds. I recently got some 90's FPS's off of steam, but that was because they were dirt cheap and it's otherwise exceedingly hard to play them on new hardware. The ones that are old enough, however, can be run with source ports so you can copy the file forever without having to download it again.
But I'm rambling. The point is, gaming continues to grow consistently more terrible. Microsoft is one of the entities at the forefront of that effort.
