When Crescent first moved to live in the leaf village and started the first mission with her new team, her teammates had no idea she was a jinchūriki, Captain Yamato and her sensei Hilderic were with them which her teammates also seemed to find odd since a team only has one leader, little did they know Yamato was accompanying them by order of the Hokage Tsunade to keep tabs on Crescent just in case something happened which it eventually did.

The team was required to catch some theives who had stolen riches from a neighbouring village all was going well and they caught up with the theives but totally by surprise the theives had more skill than the team thought and one grabbed her teammate Amaryllis Kaimara and held a kunai to her throat threatening to kill her & Crescent placed one foot forward demanding the thief to let her go her rage bubbling just below the surface. Suddenly one of the thiefs friends out of the corner of Crescents eye shot forward throwing a kunai and it slammed into her shoulder going in deep and drawing blood, Crescent yelped as it struck Arron gave a cry of surprise and his alsatian Armand barked and growled at the theives then sensed Crescent's power coming free and whimpered and hid behind Arron his tail between his legs Arron was surprised at his dogs reaction but was even more surprised and dumbstruck & so was Amaryllis at what transpired next.

Crescent growled deep the sound sounding more like an animal growl than a human growl and gripped the handle of the kunai in her right hand and wrenched it out the blood pouring more out the wound but the chakra of her one-tail dragon Azuriah started to rapidly heal the wound, the theives were dumbfounded one asked "wha..whu...whah...what are you?" and Crescent lifted her head up showing sharp fangs and blue slitted eyes her fingenails extending into formidable shining black claws and her long black blue tipped hair became wiry and feral ,she smirked and growled "your worst nightmare!" and shot up into the air at super speed {for with the power of the dragon she also has the power of flight} then she rocketed down knocking out the guy holding his teamate before the thief even had time to react then tackled the other slashing his arm with her claws drawing blood and the smell of her enemys blood triggered her into a frenzy and she gave chase to the other who ran away screaming tears in his eyes as Crescents sensei and her teammates who were shocked beyond imagining looked on but Yamato worked his wood style grabbing Crescent by her wrists and ankles and dragging her back to her sensei and teammates but she was still in predatory mode trying to wiggle free growling and snapping her fangs like a crazed thing.

Yamato made a cage with his woodstyle with a complete firm backing but bars around the frount of it and seeing Crescent wasn't calming down he placed her inside it, Amaryllis in an unwise move, moved forward to peer in the cage calling Crescent's name with a concern tone to her voice and quick as a snake growling ferociously Crescent shot forward and at the same time Amaryllis was pulled back by their sensei by her arm and her face missed Crescent's razor sharp claws by inches as she stretched her arm out the bars and sythed the air in frount of her then she dug her claws into a wooden bar of the cage her blue slitted eye peering from the cage interiour her fanged lip curling into a snarl.

Their sensei Hilderic explained to Amaryllis & Arron where Crescent originally lived and that she was a jinchūriki of a blue chinese dragon demon and the creature that attacked them was not Crescent but the dragon inside. He used a seal on paper he was given and surpressed the dragons chakra and Crescents fangs dissapeared and her claws shifted back to normal nails and her eyes returned to green & after being given an explanation by both Yamato & her Sensei on what happened she apologised to her teammates & they learned to accept this difference about her and never abandoned her.
