So THIS is a song so weird we recorded it three times.
It was actually co-written by
shiacoft and myself like... 4 years ago.
Shia (shy-uh) played bass in Look Left for about 4 years and this bass line is pretty unique. I did my best to emulate it after all this time.
Old version:http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6541155/
EVEN OLDER VERSION: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4496069/
Wow. Why do I have three versions of this?
Which you like best?

Probably just my personal preference from working with groups with MANY more singers, but I like to push the harmonies a little louder to stand /almost/ next to the melody. I think I've heard you do the same before, too. Just something I noticed off the bat was how quiet the harmony was. Otherwise, it's really good!
Old version: Didnt have enough bass guitar in the mix. Also noticed you definitely went through puberty since this because you mustve gone from baritone to bass since then or youre just leaving more low end in the EQ for your voice than you used to lol
EVEN OLDER version: Bass line itself is different. Slapping/tapping and slightly different rhythm. Doesnt seem better or worse in that regard, although probably a little cooler to switch it up like that, though. Once it gets into the song, the bass definitely isnt as loud, which is probably just cuz it wasnt compressed enough or volume wasnt changed between the slapping/tapping part and normal fingering.

Overall definitely like this newest version the most. :3 It's cool to see how much your voice has improved over the years, too!

I think it's a combination of getting better at singing, and gettin a better microphone. I roll off the bass in the eq and turn up the highs to get rid of the cloudiness my voice seems to naturally posess.
I like the harmonies loud at the end, but I'm not huge on the single line harmonies in the earlier sections. When we get to the full chorus feel near the end I push them up.
