In the summer of Oak City of about 86 degrees and no more than that, all the kids played at the local indoor swimming pool at the recreational center B, Clif, Bunny and Zack all were having fun while Melody was keeping an eye on them but also having some fun herself by diving off the high dive and coming down with a most splash less dive. Her onlookers gave her a perfect 10; of course they were also Oak City’s most non-bias and impartial judges for the diving competition. Gurume however was in the weight room with Harriet in another failed attempt at trying to get rid of the Blue Mountain’s gut. “Come on Gurume, if I can do sit ups, the strongest wolf in Oak City can do it too.” Gurume grunts as he tries to do one sit up. “You try doing sit ups with this belly!” Harriet sighs as she goes to the weight bench press bars and taps on the bench. “C’mon Gurume, hit this bar let’s see how much strength you got in that big old body!” Gurume got up off the floor and starts to walk over their while setting up the weights to go over 5 tons. “Who are you calling old?” There was a reason that he was called the blue mountain, he was built blue and he was able to actually move and break mountains if he wanted too. He lays down on the bench with no sight over his large gut as Harriet spots him at the bar, not like she needed to spot him anyway. He breathed hard as he really started to press against that weight on that bar. Everyone who was in the room watched in amazement as Gurume’s arms were built tougher than armor. Harriet then started to work on her cardio by running on treadmill at over 25 miles per hour.
After a couple of hours of swimming and working out, everyone hopped in Harriet’s van except Gurume who was too big for any car so he ran on all fours to the restaurant they know best, Murray’s. Murray was just about to open up for dinner and saw the whole family about to come in. He yelled at his employees to get ready. “Y’all getting your overtime the Big Bad Wolf is here and he brought the whole family.” The chefs, waiters and waitresses started to work at top speed to take care of everyone else’s orders before Gurume arrived at the door with Harriet letting everyone out the van. “Gurume my boy, what can do for you tonight?” Gurume finally got to the podium and patted his belly. “Murray! How’s Life? Harriet got the kids, Melody and I to the rec-cen so we could have fun plus work out. Got anything for us to eat?” Murray leads them to their table for them to eat, “As long as you don’t clean me out again.” Gurume licked his chops and felt his gut rumbling as he was super hungry. “No promises, Murray, I’m so hungry I could eat a whole zoo!” Zack sat at the booth first where everyone was gonna sit. “Papawolf, isn’t that the same time that Grif broke into the zoo and got you stuffed with every animal in there?” Gurume flashed back to the moment when Grif the belly goat actually did that. “Yeah, but this time I’m gonna eat the food myself and not have that goat shove it down my throat.” Clif came in and sat next to Bunny on the opposite side after Gurume sat in the middle since he was the largest; Melody was right near the big wolf since she was his girlfriend. “Well everyone, here’s to the best summer we’re gonna have!” Bunny also squeaked in, “That means more toys too!” That sent everyone and her into a big laugh while Murray and a few waiters all started to roll in the carts of food with everyone eating regularly and Gurume chomping on the one thing that he loves, Deer Burgers along with all of the food that Murray had at his restaurant.
“Gurume, you ate out my entire inventory again!” Gurume belched out and patted his belly. “Sorry, Murray you know I’m good for it.” He handed Murray a check that was large enough for the Restaurant to close down for a while to restock and for Melody to rent a Bulldozer to shovel up and get that wolf him back home. “Return that thing in the morning, will ya dear?” Melody put on her construction workers hat and put her thumb up, “You can count on me! Ready kids?” B, Clif, Zack and Bunny all jumped on Gurume’s belly while Harriet opened the doors to the bulldozer. “READY!” Gurume started to count down, “3…2…1…ROLL!” All of the kids started to run while Gurume’s body started to roll out the door towards the bulldozer and got him to the shovel. Harriet looked down as she pulled the lever to lift the shovel up and backed up. “I got him.” Harriet got off the bulldozer as Melody got in; Harriet unlocked her can and loaded the kids into the van. “Thanks for dinner again Murray!” Murray waved as one of his waitresses put the closed sign up. “Y’all come back and visit now ya hear!?” Gurume sat up just enough to wave, “We sure we will!” The bulldozer was the first to leave with Harriet following behind with her hazard lights on. “Mr. Murray we check the inventory and we are totally out of stuff, the supplier said he’ll be here in the morning.” Murray went back inside to help with the clean up. “Y’know, it is hard trying to feed one large wolf and the largest in Oak City.” His eyes then started to widen with his pupils shrinking, “Imagine if there were two of them…” That made all of his employees bites their nails. “But what are the chances of that happening?” But little did they know that would happen sooner than they would think.
