its good to know that this place isn't just used as an art area, but also a place to keep your memories fo some one that you hold close. so sad though, but so nice

im actually running through a touch of loss as well......Well, they haven't passed away yet, but you know what I mean.
Everybody knows what it feels like to loss some one, so people can sympathize with you. look at it this way, at least Lucy isn't suffering, right

yea and thats the way I keep trying to look at it- because she WAS suffering- there was a huge mass in her stomach crushing her internal organs, she couldnt eat, sleep, breath well or anything... so this was the best thing we could do for her- but we had her for 13 years... its hard to let go

ya, my step mom had her dog for 15 years. And apparently she was born with this heart defect where one side was larger then the other side, so when she got really excited, and her heart beat went up, and she had to breathe more. Her heart was actually crushing one of her lunges so she couldn't breathe, and she slept more and more until one day she just didn't wake up. Good news though was that it wasn't painful for her. The meds we gave her actually got rid of the pain, but couldn't help with the condition.

awww thats really sad- well at least she died without pain right? Tell your step mom Im sorry

no she never did anything like that....she really was a very good dog- her only habit was she would get into the garbage every now and then.
