3D eyes.
The eye socket is behind/seperate via a piece of transparent plastic which is partially concaved, similiar to how a magnifying glass works. Depending on the angle of where you look, the eye socket will always appear to "look" towards you (or in this case the camera). While it does give the illusion that its "staring" at you, there are times where it doesn't always work effectively. An example is when you're looking forward but when a camera/video-camcorder see's you from the side, the eye looks at the camera and not whats in front of the fursuiter or "where" his staring.

I was just going to say, 'magic' ;)
For my eyes, I sculpted them the size and depth I wanted and vacuume-formed them so the sides are smooth, rounded and concave. The iris is PhotoShopped and printed out and the pupil is screendoor mesh. I still have to hole punch out two reflective tape circles to add as light reflecting off the eye. Reflective tape should make them nice and bright when photographed.

Cute, CUTE!!!! *almost starts drooling* but uhm...how can you look where you're going while wearing a fursuit, on all the pictures of
fursuits I've seen, I've never seen any eyeholes or whatchamacallits (how the hell did I think of that?!?).
Are the eyes made of some kind of one-way mirror glass?

Actually the eye sockets are concave bowls I created by vaccumforming plastic over eye sculptures I made. The back of the bowls are cut our and lined with a black screen mesh (that I see out of). Then I PhotoShopped the iris, printed them onto photo quality paper, cut them out and glued them into place. The white dot (missing from these pics but seen here http://www.furaffinity.net/view/181...../#cid:13055977 ) are white photo paper punched out with a hole punch and glued onto the screen mesh. :)
