At one point of his storyline, Twinkles is chosen for an important role of leadership, he refuses and let Castor accept the role in his place.
It’s a huge act of responsibility, because Twinks perfectly knows he has limits and is very afraid to loose soldiers under his command. On the contrary, Castor is confident, very rational and cold-blooded in risky situations, he’s perfect for that role.
In one hand Twinkles kinda admires Castor resolution, trying also to empathize with his situation in many occasions; on the other hand, Castor becomes more paranoid about Twinkles availability to help, closing himself and mistaking Twinkles, thinking he’s very envious of that lost occasion.
During Reapers War they become very close, starting also kind of a friendship, Castor recognize his mistake, so does Twinkles, and they finally understand what ‘being in his clothes’ means.
That’s all. As I said, is very stupid xD
