I optimized the otter hugs mesh. Changed tail and especially the feet paws (will post some closeups of these soon). I am really happy with the result.

Well, there is a fix for that!!! I won't say it's an easy fix though. Depending on your program, you can re-topologize the model and lower it's poly count. Most programs will let you transfer the sculpt detail onto a normal map that you can then put onto the lower model. I can see this model being brought down to as far as like 30k poly without loosing much detail. Some software does have a feature that will reduce the poly level for you, but they aren't always the best at doing this and will leave very bad topology. If you're not familiar with topology, it's most important thing for a 3D model in order for it to be animatable. Doing it by hand is extremely time-consuming if not famililar with how it works. I got no clue what your level in the subjects are, so I'm trying not sure how much assistance you'd need in this subject.
