It's finally here oh my gosh I have waited years for this. It was so worth the wait. I've been dreaming about a theme song for Lerato ever since he became my fursona. And it's finally here and it's perfect and amazing and wonderful and GAAAAHHH.
Upon request, the person I commissioned (SUPER awesome by the way, GO THROW MONEY AT THEM RIGHT NOW) based the soundfont for this theme around the style of most Gameboy Advance/SP games out there, with Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team being the biggest inspiration for the syncopation and overall feeling of the piece. They were awesome to work with and I am one heck of a pleased customer.
I will never stop listening to this and loving it. It loops, which is PERFECT for me (since I can listen to looped music for hours and hours on end without getting tired of it), it reminds me of a lot of old Gameboy Advance/SP games I used to play and love as a kid (many times I'd stop playing just to hear the music of those games loop endlessly), and it perfectly captures the essence of my fursona.
So on the days when I think I can't, I'll turn this music on, and smile as I think of my goofball lion fursona, dancing around the Savannah, singing and acting childish and happy and reminding me that life is to be enjoyed.
HUGE thanks to Aurea for creating this piece and bringing Lerato to (musical) life! This so accurately captures him that I almost cried when I first heard it.
