Just got the urge to write and this came out. Let me know what you think x3 I'm sure we've all had this experience to some degree xD
The air was filled with the sounds of the television that were heard but not listened to. It flashed a sequence of images that were seen but not watched. Across the television sat a wolf and fox, on a rickety old couch that moaned and whined with the slightest movement. It was not a large couch, but the space between the wolf and the fox, who sat on opposite ends of it from eachother, seemed to stretch on forever. The wolf twitched his toes and shuffled around, his eyes fixated on the television, but not paying any attention to it whatsoever. The fox eyed his finger nails, letting out a small “hm,” as if he were telling himself to trim them later when he had the chance. But his “hm,” meant way more than that, in fact it had nothing to do with his fingernails. He was simply trying to fill the gaping gap in his mind between his desires, and how he should go about attaining them. Unfortunately, it was nothing but doubt that began filling the gap, and the fox began to let his desires slip away without satiation. The television showed the death of an innocent character and this went unnoticed by the wolf who was staring at the screen. Perhaps this was because, in the wolf’s mind, he had just killed his own hopes of giving all of his love to the fox who sat fidgeting beside him. He had disposed of that body deep within the recesses of his mind, never to be seen again. And so they sat.
