Kyle is Joanne's husband in the Angel and Knight Prime universe/ dreamscape http://www.furaffinity.net/view/987048/ . When Joanne and Kyle first met he was working primarily as a Personal Trainer at a local gym while doing some local modeling work for fashion ads. Then he got the most unlikely of break.
Out of the blue he got a chance to do a TV ad for a chain of Japanese fast-food restaurants called Yoshinoya. They sell primarily rice bowls. The ads were for the local market and were rather odd and goofy but Kyle did them and got paid. He didn't give them much thought afterwards since he thought they were rather silly. Then ads got on the Net and went viral.
Yoshinoya is an actual Japanese corporation and when the ads got found by the Japanese viewers he suddenly became an instant pop/ idol celebrity there for thousands of schoolgirls! Soon he was getting all kinds of fan mail from fans, and all kinds of new offers to do more work for Yoshinoya! One was to do voice acting of himself for a super-deformed sentai anime series called "Yo-Team!". While hardly the next Gundam it was popular and more importantly it got him noticed by Hollywood.
While one his goals was to be on the cover of GQ, which he has done now, Kyle's other dream has been to work in Hollywood. At first he did a series of small bit parts, but eventually landed a supporting role in a "B" grade sci-fi movie called "Parallel Conflict". The movie was horribly but Kyle's performance was one of the better acts, and it did spawn a sequel in which got a bigger part!
Recently he has been casted for the leading male role in a romance, comedy that has the working title "Night Shift". Joanne has very mixed feelings about the movie since it about a guy who has taken a night job as a male exotic dancer out of desperation to pay the bills, and is trying to keep it secret from his family, friends and more importantly the family of the woman he wants to marry. Yeah she knows he loves her and that nothing really happens in any of the romance scenes, but it still bugs her. On plus side he is taking lots of dancing lessons and she gets to grade his homework. An added bonus is that Kyle has always kept himself in good shape but the studio has required that he go on a very specific diet and exercise regime which is toning him up just fine.

Actually at first he needed a translator. Later he did pick up the language and can at least not make a fool of himself in public usually. For the Yo-Team stuff they actually had him speak English since he is suppose to be an American who gets dragged into the whole thing. They just sub-titled him.
Oh, the e-mail he must have gotten from those schoolgirls! I imagine him nervously paging through the messages, some of them with images attached, and Joanne leaning over his shoulder, teasing him and making him squirm and mumble “Dear! Stoppit!”
