Pt 2 of my slowly progressing The World Ends With You story, enjoy!

Lindaina starts nudging Kuro to wake him up; he seems to be more exhausted than he led on as he slowly gets up stretching and looking to see that their surroundings have changed. Uh Kuro do you know where we are? Lindaina said inquisitively, Looks like we are in the shopping district he says as he checks his phone to see that today’s mission has not been sent yet. For now why don’t we go check out the clothing store over there, Kuro points to the clothing outlet that has a weird skull emblem on its sliding glass doors. Any store that has that emblem on it means that we can go in and interact with other players. How do you know that Kuro? Lindaina asked as they walked towards the store. Let’s just say you’re not my first partner and leave it at that for now.
They arrive at the shop and the doors open as they enter the shop looking at the various articles of clothing and such when they are greeted by a pair of shop keepers. They still haven’t managed to get rid of you have they wolf man? The male shop keeper says to Kuro, “Will! It’s definitely been awhile my good friend and they have yet to send a reaper that can eliminate me!” Will is a tall husky built young male around the same age as Kuro, he has black hair and olive green eyes that are usually hidden behind a pair of rose quartz tinted glasses He enjoys watching anime when he isn’t helping out other players. He has on a pair of black pants with a crimson red shirt and white tabin socks since he rarely leaves the store. “Lindaina I want you to meet my good friend Will, he has also been around for a while but he owns this clothing outlet so the reapers don’t pay him any mind.” Who’s the lucky lady there? Kuro exclaims seeing the pretty young lady next to him with metallic blue headphones on listening to something while dancing rhythmically. “Oh, this is A.J she used to be a player but her partner died when they were ambushed by a powerful group of noise! I found her when she only had seconds to live and rescued her by hiring her to work for my shop as well as becoming my partner so that she can leave the store if she wants to”. A.J. is a tall athletic built young lady not as tall as Will or Kuro but a bit shorter than Lindaina, she has blue hair and blue eyes. She has a passion for anime, fashion and music which she is usually listening to with her headphones that were a gift to her from her last partner. She is wearing a generic anime school uniform top and skirt with black stockings and socks both which have a bear motif to them.

So it looks like you still have yet to win this game huh? Who knows, maybe she is the right partner for you and hopefully you both will get out of this game, Will said with hopes that his friend would finally have some luck thrown his way. Anyways let me get both you and your partner set up with a fresh new set of threads on the house, AJ! He exclaimed yelling loud enough so that she would hear him over the music as she takes out her I pod from her skirt pocket and pauses the music to listen to him. I need you to take Lindaina to the back and get her measurements while Kuro and I discuss other matters, Will said to his partner. “Sure, come this way and I will take your measurements in the dressing room” She grabbed Lindainas hand and dragged her to the back to get all of her measurements. How long have you known Will? Lindaina said as she slowly disrobed down to her bra and panties. “I haven’t known him for too long or worked here for that long but honestly I love Will and if he hadn’t come along when he did I would have died for good! I don’t know if he loves me back but for now that’s all I know and I am content with that” she said as she took the measuring tape and stretched it around the various areas of Lindaina’s body and keeping mental notes to write down afterwards of her different measurements.

What do you mean died for good? Lindaina said as she was getting dressed again while AJ was writing down the measurements. “Well as Will explained it to me we are all dead with the exception of some of the shop keepers and other’s and this is a game to determine who is worth giving a second chance at life. I am content with being dead so long as I am with Will, but in order to enter the game your entry fee is what you valued the most when you were alive. I can’t remember my entry fee, and I don’t know Kuro so I can’t tell you much about him but Will seems to have a history with him so if he trusts him than I trust him” “Now that I have your measurements why don’t you go on back out I will have a new set of clothes for you and Kuro in no time, don’t worry about his measurements since he has been here previously his measurements are already on record.” Lindaina nodded her head in agreement as she came out of the changing room. Kuro was still engaging in conversation with Will when Lindaina suddenly heard her phone go off notifying her that she had a text message. Light and Dark though opposites can always be brought together in a unique union, you have 60 minutes to find where these two opposites are one and defeat the noise in that area! She felt the familiar sting on her right palm as the timer appeared. Hey Kuro are you ready to head out? Our next mission has arrived if you didn’t already notice Lindaina said impatiently. “Your clothes are all set guys why don’t you get changed now before you head out!” A.J. exclaimed as she brought out a folded set of clothes in each hand for both Lindaina and Kuro. They both took the clothes and thanked AJ as they went into the respective male and female changing rooms to get changed. For Kuro he had a new t-shirt that had a large black and green yin yang on it in the center of the shirt with a pair of cargo camouflage pants. He came out of the changing room and noticed Lindaina was still getting changed. He did a few kicks and flips to break in the new clothes, after that he went up to Will and asked him for a new set of dice and some tarot cards since the dice he used in his last fight were all used up and the old set of cards he had were all used up and burned away. “The clothes were free, but the dice and cards are going to cost you” Will said with a smirk. What is it this time Will? Kuro said curious as to what he would want this time around. “Just bring me back a few bat noise pins next time you visit and were even” He said as he handed Kuro a small box of dice of different colors and patterns, there was a total of 10 dice 4 animal patterns; Wolf, Bear, Cheetah, Rhino, and 6 color dice each representing one element. The tarot cards were a few of the Major Arcana but each had some sort of Wolf motif to them. Lindaina came out of the changing room and looked very pretty. She had a crimson red top that revealed her cleavage; below she had on a long forest green skirt and black slip on shoes with white socks. Thanks for everything guys, take it easy! Kuro exclaimed as him and Lindaina exited the shop. “Nice work there with the whole wolf and red riding hood kind of look going for the pair AJ” Will said complimenting his partner.

Fifteen minutes had passed since the duo had left the store; they were on their way to an island that was in the center to the harbor on a small boat that they had bought from a fisherman in exchange for Kuro to read his fortune. While Kuro was looking through his new set of cards Lindaina was contemplating on the mission clue, Kuro had the location down but wasn’t sure what the clue was pointing towards. They arrived onto the island with Kuro jumping off eager to get the mission done and over with, while Lindaina walked slowly still in her own thoughts off of the boat. It was after another 15 minutes had passed of the pair walking through the heavily wooded forest that was the island that she had figured out that the island itself was what was mentioned! The island itself which had such lush and thick tress provided the darkness on the ground while there were some patches of light that peaked through the trees. But now the real question was where was this noise they had to fight? Come on Kuro we need to hurry our time is running out! Lindaina said panicking as they were down to the last 15 minutes, they finally reached the center of the island where this massive Dire Wolf was but something didn’t seem right about her, she growled and started attacking the pair!
Kuro threw off his shades and shirt to the ground as he took a random card out of his tarot deck and the Cheetah die and throw the card and die into the air, the card began to glow purple and turned to ash as the energy enveloped the die, the card was temperance combined with the Cheetah die transformed Kuro into what looked like a shaolin monk but with cheetah like aspects such as a tail and ears. “Lindaina, this is my special technique that I can perform when I have beast dice and tarot cards, depending on the card I grab it will determine how long I can maintain the form and how strong it is, in this case I have a time limit of 5 minutes! You’re not the only one with a few tricks Kuro!” Exclaimed Lindaina as she began chanting which opened up a medium sized magic circle and summoned a succubus, then the succubus merged with Lindaina giving her demonic like features as well as enhancing her own physique! Kuro began striking the wolf in such rapid succession it seemed like a flurry of blows. The Wolf changed shape and became a huge demonic creature with one wing feathered like an angel but the other like a devil. “Don’t hog all the fun Kuro!” Lindaina exclaimed as she flew up with her wings that were as black as night conjuring up a large crimson red flame in the shape of a sword striking the demon noise in combination with Kuro while the demon like creature tried to fend off both the attacks. Kuro and Lindaina had only 5 minutes left, Kuro leapt into the air to attack the demon attempting to finish it off with one swift blow when his time ran out and he changed back to normal panting out of exhaustion and dropped to the ground. Kuro used the last of his strength to throw a tarot card at Lindainas flame blade giving it a huge boost in power changing its color from red to a bright purple flame giving it enough of a power boost for her to slay the demon by slicing it in half before it could make a move on the now overly exhausted Kuro. Lindaina dropped down changing shape back to her normal form as the succubus returned to its domain, Lindaina as exhausted as Kuro as the noise vanished it dropped a bunch of small noise pins that were of multiple creature varieties, she took Kuro’s body and leaned him up against a tree as she felt multiple wounds appear on her body as if something was slashing at her. This was the recoil she had to face when using that summoning technique. She glanced at her palm overly exhausted and she noticed the time had stopped with only 5 seconds left. With a smile on her face she passed out on Kuro’s lap.

“Well now that was unexpected, I was hoping they would have gotten eliminated and I could just leave this place.” Arcius said while letting out a yawn “Well this game has bored me knowing that there are two very strong players here, there isn’t much need for me to be here so instead I will leave this to my lieutenant and her subordinates” Arcius said as he used his hand to slice open a rift in the dimension. Out from the rift stepped out two young women and a young male. The one young woman was tall and had a draconic like appearance; she had long red hair with a dark purple streak towards the back of her hair. She wore a pair of scarlet red shades that covered her black as night dragon eyes, and a black tank top that showed off her ample cleavage, her mid-section showed off a body that was very physically fit, beneath that she wore a pair of blue jeans. Her skin though very sleek looking and was of flesh toned, it was composed of dragon scales. Her hands and feet both had draconic claws. The other young woman was shorter but instead of being a humanoid creature, she was a human who wore a cat ear hairband and a very unique eye color, they were as red as blood. She wore a sky blue pull over hoodie which was a bit bigger than her form so the sleeves were a bit longer than her arms giving her a much younger like appearance. She had on beneath a pair of tan cargo shorts with black shoes that had cat laces going through them. The young male was also human but instead of an enjoyment for cats he was more into foxes, he had on a pair of black shades that covered his hazel eyes and a red hoodie, when the hood is put up which it usually is most of the time it gives him the appearance of having fox ears. Below his hoodie he wore black pants and a pair of socks with little foxes on them.
“Flare, I trust you and your two troops can handle the rest of this?” Arcius said as he left through the tear as it closed once he was fully through it. Things should be more interesting now that I’m in charge Flare said. “Neko and Kitsune I want you to test this duo and see how strong they really are. They are strong together but let’s see how they are separated. Neko I want you to fight the guy and Kitsune I want you to fight the girl.”
