Tried to use a slightly different painting method for this, one I haven’t used in awhile. It was fitting, since I wanted this guy to have more of a grimy, gritty look to him. Detailing this guy was super fun, I missed using my old brushes.

For me it's a brush on Paint Tool Sai I used to use a lot, but haven't used in months. Here's the settings if you're interested http://i.imgur.com/8DL248vh.jpg I honestly can't remember if I made the brush or picked it up from someone else. It has a very sort of heavy acrylic painting feeling to it that I really enjoy. Creates a lot of happy accidents.
i deleted all my sai brushes, textures, etc. EVERYTHING and reinstalled cleanly then hand-selected only the textures i wanted and made my brushes from scratch. xD now i have 3 pencil brushes [2b,4b,8b], 1 main brush that i could do everything with, and 3 painting brushes i kind of just switch between randomly lmao.
