Thousands of years ago, the Serpent Men ruled the whole of the world. Serving their demon-god, the Great Serpent Yag, the enslaved all other races and brought the world to its knees. At some point the Serpent Men group split, with one group becoming the Lamias. The seat of the First Empire of the serpent people, was Elder Kuth. However, after the good sorcerers of the world banded together and banished Yag to the realm of the Seven Hells, the enslaved races rose up and over through their oppressors. Now the Serpent Men are restricted to their ancient lands, living in the ruins of Elder Kuth.
