Character File Card #6 "M. Hummel"
In lieu of a page this week (and for the next couple weeks, sorry!!), 
korat and I have been working on refining our ideas on the T10K universe! We are finalizing the ideas we've presented in the past, trimming off the fat and formatting stuff for public consumption, ie. for future print. That said, we've decided to show you guys a glimpse of the spoiler-free stuff. ;D
And now thanks to popular request, Matilda Hummel!
The support crew is actually contracted on a case by case basis to the FIRM. They usually are the first response team to the scene, and evaluate the situation.
(Only a few select folks can call her Tilly. If you're not one of those, it's not recommended you try that.)

Awww... kindasorta!
Her design is, in terms of her colors and markings and general structure, yep, sort of a mix of two of my GSD's. But her personality/character is actually not. When we were designing characters, we had most of the character personalities and backgrounds etc at first and then picked their animals after a bunch of trial and base sketches, way back when...
Both of us were like yep, there's nothing else Matilda could be. (I'm biased, sure. XD Her and Mac get all my thumbs up. ;) )

Gives the impression of someone solid and dependable, calm and focused in the heat of the situation... Bosnia would have been a real test for that or a forge to temper it in. Three languages and a BSME, kick the respect up another few notches... obviously not your average contractor.
ACL injury, eh? That can suck for an active person... heck, my PCL frustrated me and I was not what you'd call super active. I take it that as an ongoing issue, the ACL has not been reconstructed or there have been ongoing problems/weakness from a less successful one?

Pfft, nooooo, never my thunder. <3 We have a thing, West posts em for FA on Friday, I do my post Sat, and I do the posting on the website/Patreon/Tapastic in the morning with my coffee. Nom. <33 (Plus I like rain over thunder, that way I'm not patting Caleb in the bathtub and telling him it's okay, the sky won't eat him.)
Besides, poor West had a viral issue with the desktop and worked like a demon to try and get this one up for post on time. I don't know how it got done but it was only because of nose to the grindstone. <333 I feel awful about it, computer issues are so freaking stressful, and there was nothing I could do to help. :(

Hehe, spoiler alert: Korat posts the card profiles for me. XD <3 I'm usually too busy at work to get to it in the mornings, so Korat slides in to help out with that! :D
And yeah, we originally had Tilly born and raised in Germany, but then her military career would have been totally different. As a result, we had her raised in Loyal, Oklahoma, which is home to an unusually high population of native Germans. What the profile doesn't say is that she grew up on a farm surrounded by German-speaking relatives and community, so as a result she's grown up speaking German at home, and for most of her life out in the rural boonies. And that's why her mannerisms and personality are so quintessentially kraut. ;D
And nope, Matilda's been screened for Aspect and she has none! She's just awesome all by herself, baby! XD
