I'm designing the characters for Walt's new project,ROCKET RAT,an homage to the vintage movie serials of the 1930's and 1940's. I've always loved the pop culture of the '30s and '40s...the old radio shows,the "Golden age" comic books and comic strips,but especially those loveable old Saturday matinee "cliffhangers" that had kids coming back to the theatres week after week to see if their Heroes survived the previous week's dire predicament. Here we see Captain Rod Stone of the Global Police,alias "Rocket Rat",the "Atom powered Airborne Avenger!!". Flanking Rod / RR are his spunky young sidekick and co-pilot.Lt. Jack Carr,and the glamourous and brilliant lady scientist Dr. Jane Red Deer. Characters c. Walter D. Reimer-All rights reserved.
