Due to a terrible curse put upon his clan Hecter lost his family and his eye along the way, for years he traveled giving over wisdom and advise to those who needed it, though he was scared emotionally as well, it didnt stop his optimism

And he never blamed the one responsible for the curse, just the ones who made her do it.
