I don't normally post works-in-progress, but I'm just so pleased with how her breasts turned out there ^_^
You can see there's still a ways to go. I'm not yet finished with the shading and have not even started on highlights (her base fur color layer is hidden, so there's currently more than you see here).
You may also notice a distinct lack of lines here. I opted to try lineless for this piece, trying to gauge how long it would take if I went right to colors rather than cleaned up the inkwork and used that for structure. Even though I'm glad she's shaping up as nicely as she is, I've already spent about three or four days on her, double the time it would take for clean inkwork, due to all the added detail. I think... after this piece I'm going to hold off on lineless art, at least until I can figure out how to streamline the coloring process better. It's a lot more tedious having to physically draw out the shapes rather than magic-wand-and-color-fill to put down initial colors O.o
I'm really hoping to finish this sometime in the next few days, if work doesn't burn me out too much. I'm falling a tad behind on Art Show pieces to complete for Anthrocon, but with some effort I think I'll have everything ready in time. Wish me luck!
