Something terrible had descended upon Base 12. Within hours, the place was dead. The security cameras ran endlessly though, numbly watching the horrors unfold before their unblinking, electronic eyes. One of them caught sight of Dr. Kwack, part of the rescue team, arriving far too late to be of any help -- and unknowingly, perhaps sealing his own fate as well.
Despite being introduced to Xenophobe via the horribly flawed NES port, I was always in love with its style. Being part Alien, part Star Trek, and part just plain goofy, it was a heck of a treat. And who would've figured it featured an anthro duck guy, ripe for the picking? XD
Yes, this is about a week late for Halloween. Oh well. And no, this was not mislabeled, or a glitch; I finally uploaded a General Audiences picture to my main gallery. I guess I'm a real artist now! :D

It's a game, and it's okay. Not one of the best games I've ever played (again, the NES version is practically broken), and it's probably a lot more fun multiplayer than by yourself. Still, if you like the Alien flicks and side-scrolling shooting games, you might find it cool. I like the atmosphere. ^_^;
The description you gave reminded me of Dead Space. The game so scary some people returned it from FEAR of playing it. I own it and I play it.
Never herd off your mentioned game and therefore never played it.
Looks like someone's body is gonna get raped.
Be old holes or new ones, he looks like he's gonna get raped.

I actually had Doom and Aliens in mind when I wrote the description...although Doom was *inspired* by Aliens, and Dead Space *reminds* me a lot of Doom, so there's just a general theme going throughout all this stuff. XD
And as for the alien tentacle creeping toward our hero, I left it up to the viewer to decide its intent. Is it looking for food? Or is it hoping to fulfill some *other* kind of need? Well, that's your call. ;)

Yeah, my sweetheart,
submissivetrout , gave me the security camera idea. I liked it so much, I had to use it. ^_^;

That's part of the reason I wanted to draw him: I assume *somebody* has a fetish for beefy duck guys, and said fetish is probably rarely catered to. Thought I'd throw somebody a bone. ^_^;
Secondly, if you're asking me personally, I'd pick the first and/or second scenario you listed. XD

New game is fun... its crazy fun... I cannot stop playing it. BUT, the original games are too true to my heart to hold below this one. Sure, the new one has better graphics, an updated look and addictive game play, but it still lacks the total feel, charm, and amazing story and writing of the original games.
Definately should try to get ahold of them if you can. Hell, if you want to know about the game series, I or any other fan would appretiate a chance to talk about such a great game series. :3
But I'm sure you got better things to do then to have fans yack your ear off about a game series. :b

Very much so. The first 2 were open world RPG's in the original sense. It was back when your character would move around on a map (represented on the map by a dot) moving along a path you chose (A dotted line leading to a spot you picked for them to travel, travel taking lots of time in game and sometimes getting interupted by random encounters). Once you reached spot, got into an encounter, or hit a place like a town, you went into a 3/4ths isometric view (think Final Fantasy. Diablo, or Super Mario RPG) and moved around talking to people. Battles would result in the game turning into a turn based game, letting you move based on your total action points determined by your stats. You could use items, attack, move, or whatnot based on how much AP you have left. When you run out, others move depending on how 'fast' they are. Once you win, the game reverts back to normal time leaving the battle. The Good story really came into play with the original games and the feel was spot on. They had to be since the graphics were pretty bad, like Diablo 1 only worse. Still, great graphics do not make a great game. :b
The third one is very much taking the original games and taking them into the new gaming world with a twist on the Oblivion system Bathesta used with Elderscrolls. You can still do the targeting system (In the original system, you could do aimed shots if you had enough AP, allowing you to aim for the torso, limbs, head, groin, or eyes. Hitting the limbs could cripple them and reduce movement or make it difficult or impossible to wield weapons. Hitting the groin allowed for higher crit hit rate, and aiming for head allowed for more damage to some enemies and higher chriticals, though not as high as a groin shot, and an eye shot was difficult as hell to get but able to do the most damage since no enemy really had armor over their eyes, the chritical hit rate was insane, and you could blind an enemy, if not just blow their damn head off if you did enough damage) The new game removed groin and eye shots however (lame) and also the main gameplay has you fighting in real time just like in oblivion (allowing you to use guns or melee and hand to hand weapons. the physical contact weapons work mostly like they did in Oblivion but the guns are much more effective to use, the whole 'killing from afar' thing usualy a safer bet. :b), the targeting activated with a button and eating up AP that must be refilled over time. It also uses the similar stat and perk system from Fallout 1 and 2 (though removing the traits) and adjusting them to fit more to Oblivion style (Original in the Fallout games stats could go above 10 for a short time with the help of chems like Mentats and Buffout, but not in 3. Also in the original games the skills worked on percentages, ergo with a skill of 50 in lockpick, you had a 50% chance of unlocking a normal lock, though the percentages went up to 200% in 1 and 300% in 2, since you ran into some nasty stuff that would be difficult if not impossible to do even with a 100 point skill. In Fallout 3 all the skills are just skills, no percentage points, and all cap at 100). So in essence you can play the game like 1st person shooter with more depth (like Stalker) or play it relying heavly on the advanced targeting to make it more remenicent of the original games, or more RPG'ish

They are easy to deal with actualy. All you need to do is straif left and right after each rocket shot, keep your distance, and make sure you dont have any walls behind you that are too close. He fires in a rythem and always fires at where you are or the direction your going, so switching direction gives you plenty of time to dodge, and so long as there are no walls behind you that the rockets will hit and cause splash damage, he cannot touch you.
The one that is a pain do deal with is that damn Aracno brain thingy with the mini gun, or that fucking revenent with the monster resurection and undodgable magic blasts. >.<

Oh I still have it. I've got about a hundred Atari games still, the Atari 7800, and my NES. Thinking about it, I think I have the Atari version, but I gotta check to be sure. Ohh, the port I'm gonna get is gonna be Midway Arcade Treasures 2, the gamecube version so I can play it on my Wii.
Oh, I won't deny that drawin' smut's definitely a much surer bet for gettin' people to notice you. I was just irked at how artwork that's borne from years of study and practice, and hours of sketching and refining (and occasionally coloring) is suddenly "not art" because it's pornographic in nature. Well-drawn pornographic art takes just as much dedication and effort as any kind, so it's lame when the work is devalued just because it might focus on breasts or genitals.
Sometimes even more effort when you look at it since when their are multiple figures in the pictures positioning them both next to or over eachother can be a task as well as putting in the detail of the naughty bits. so of course i can certainly appreciate quallity artwork whether mature or not .
*shakes your hand vigorously*
Thank you very much. ^_^;
Now, I mean absolutely no disrespect to artists who draw general audiences images -- we've all gotta' march to our own tune and whatnot -- I'd just like to not be disrespected solely because of the suggestive nature of my work.
