I broke her in by taking her up into the mountains for a few days. Made me learn how to get into first verrrrry fast (hills, I mean). She's very mountain-friendly... I mean, I could scale the highest peaks without slowing down at all. It was awesome... considering... in my last (and only other) car, I could only do 40. o.O
I'm getting vanity plates as soon as I sell my other car (might be a while, my mother seems to have misplaced the title!! D:) and they're gonna say "AWESOME".

Focuses are pretty cool. I was also considering one of those as well. My ma had one when they first came out... and this one winter, she parked by my aunt's truck. Well, my aunt didn't know, so when she decided to take everyone to lunch and was backing out of the driveway, she said something along the lines of, "ohhh, can you hear the ice crunching? There's so much of it."
Poor little Focus was never the same after that. O_O

I got my Passat used. It's a 99 but in amazing shape. All my friends thought it was a new car...lol
I didn't trade a vehicle in for it though. They wanted me to though. Every place I went to test drive a vehicle they were looking at my Jeep going "What will it take for you to drive out of here in a new car and leave that?" XD

XD That's pretty funny. I love it when the dealer wants to take your trade. I used to have a 2003 PT Cruiser and I got it with 6000 miles. I don't think I had more than 26000 on it before I traded it but every dealer I went to asked about it and when I told them the miles they all were like, "Step into my office--"

I was getting gas for the first time ever. At first, I was unaware that the gas-flap was on the other side... like it usually is. O_O Then I couldn't get the damn gas cap to go back on! I felt so dumb. :D

Yessssss. I love my VW so much. I've got a '99 Passat myself (and am sitting in it right now as I type this...lol)
I never thought I'd like a car, I was always biased towards my other vehicle (95 Jeep Cherokee, highly modified). But since I got my VW I totally fell in love. These days I drive my car every day and my Jeep is just for fun here and there.
