Well! This was quite the project. I've done sprite edits before, but this was my first ever from-scratch original pixel art, a headshot of Lendie's recent cake-liom form. Done last week as a birthday gift for him, for a first shot I'm pretty happy with how this came out!
What you see on the left side here is the pic in its natural resolution, 150px square, in both glasses and non-glasses variations. I tossed in a double-sized version of it too, just to make some of the details a little easier to make out for those who'd like to see it.
