Meet the Terbearriums!
I recently created this species accidentally while doodling in my sketchbook. I'm really struggling to make ends meet recently, and since the rent is due in about a week I thought 'hey, why not sell them?' The way things are looking, I need to sell quite a few of these, so I hope they will be received well.
Each cub is born with a tank-like space in their abdomen, and inside lives a small animal. The bear's life and their pet's life are connected, and they have an average lifespan of about 75 years. They can speak to one another.
Terbearriums do not need to stay true to natural breed colors, and in fact, they tend to be quite colorful and expressive in their hairstyles and wardrobe choices!
The shape of the window on their belly depends on their breed. Black bears have ovals, brown bears have squares, polar bears have diamonds, grizzly bears have circles, sloth bears have triangles, spectacled bears have rectangles, sun bears have stars, and giant pandas have pentagons. This window functions as a door for access to the inside of the tank. Those with fish need to lay on their backs to prevent the water from spilling when they open the door. Although pets can be apart from their bears, they become steadily more depressed the longer they are out of the tank.
The three example bears are available to be adopted- comment below to claim! Payment must be sent via PayPal. You will receive the full-res image upon purchase. More adoptables will be available soon for purchase, so don't feel bad if you miss these!
If you wish to request a custom Terbearrium, please send me a note with the following information:
