One of the things I've considered as I write my upcoming project is the possibility of encountering Marhutz Elo, Nahmat and Tamahn's paternal cousin, and one of the three companions of AgentElrond's Professor Odd.

Elo is one of West Gallavardi’s foreign affairs officials, and organization working to keep an up-to-date assessment of the state of the neighboring nations, report and identify sources of civil unrest, and prevent the development of internal violence and international aggression.

In other words, she is a spy and a political assassin.

As part of her training, she is educated in practical acrobatics, anatomy, armed and unarmed martial arts, several languages, social dynamics, economics, and some branches of psychology, her most notable being the ability to discern involuntary non-verbal communication queues. She is so proficient at this last technique in particular, she can outmatch most psychics, including Nahmat.

The two don’t often see eye-to-eye, with Nahmat having conflicted, disdainful feelings for such clandestine foreign meddling, and being jealous of Elo’s superior people skills, while Elo sees her as being too idealistic, an resents her outstanding talent for psychic powers, of which she has none.

Characterization to change during development. Elo has mostly been an enigma in the Professor Odd series, due to :devgoldeenherself:’s lack of material to work from (read: my unfinished novel), so I’ve been making things up in my head as I go. Truth be had I haven’t even introduced her in my draft yet.
