Hey! I make fursuits with my wife and I have some advice regarding your duct tape dummy that'll impact movement and fit: you want the elbows and knees bent slightly so that you have a good range to move your arms, legs, sit and pose. It also makes doing digi a little easier as well. The end result/pose should look like this http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14996283/ If you're careful and super mindful about how you go about it, you can adjust the arms and legs into the correct position. You'll need to slit at the elbows and knees, bend them into position, and tape around where you imagine the form of the knee/elbow would be.
