Backstory
(Work in progress)
Every 100 years, there is a special child born who does not forget about the Familiar that once protected them after they grow up. 80 years ago, the special child was born as a human. This child was born into a family with wealth and power. He was very particular child. Unlike the other children who would play with action figures and play outside, he spent his time reading about the terrible events that occurred on Earth. He learned about the dark history of the human race, he read about all of the wars and the inhuman things some people would do. Being exposed to this knowledge, he became corrupted and dreamt of world domination, he dreamt of ultimate power. Once he grew up and his Familiar had descended to the heavens, he began his planning. He knew of the strength and power Familiars possessed, and with the power and money he had from his parents, he decided to re-create his Familiar. He didn't settle for a normal Familiar, he was greedy, he wanted more power, so he set out to make an army of metal killing machines to gain world dominance. Using his family's power, he recruited the world's best scientists to create his army. He called them the "Refined". Many of these Refined Familiars were created but when the day came to start them all up, everything went wrong. The Refined Familiars had artificial intelligence on the level of human thinking and when these killing machines were booted up, they had no intention to obey to anyone's command. Unable to control the Refined Familiars, he was enraged. He screamed at them, shouting things like "I made you! You must obey me!" to pleading and begging. "Please, we can discuss, if you work with me, I can give you ultimate power." Even with all his efforts, the intelligent metal monsters could not care less and they started tearing apart the facility trying to escape. Then he realized, if these monsters that he created escaped, his parents will be in great danger. Even though he was corrupted to the core, he treasured his parents more than anything in the world. With this mindset, he decided to set off the self destruct backup plan the facility had. The force of the explosion could be felt from hundreds of miles away some claim. The government covered up the terrible event by saying that nuclear waste caught flame and exploded while being transported and that the area is extremely radioactive. This kept everyone away from the crumbled facility, until 5 years ago, when a group of foreign friends wandered into the area while on a hiking trip. Curiosity drove them to exploring the ruins. One of them saw something sparkling from a crack in between 2 large rocks, he felt something attracting him to it. Peeking around the corner of the crack into the rocks, he came face to face with a cold, metallic killing machine. Seems like those scientists did too well of a job constructing those Refined Familiars.

So this is a "Refined Familiar" which is a mecha/metal Familiar!
IMPORTANT: The front paws are ALWAYS larger than the hind paws.
All of them have a weapon of some sorts on the end of their tail! The weapon on this Familiar is an electric blade!
Instead of having a birthstone like normal Familiars, it has a orb inside its chest which is its power core.
These Familiars cannot retract their claws since they are made out of metal.
Refined Familiars can be any size but they are usually very large.
The ribbon around the tail is optional! Not all of them have ribbons! They cannot hide their ribbons because they do not have magic like how the real flesh Familiars have.
Some can do things like breath fire and electrocute other things.
They have very sharp claws!
Refined Familiars can also be anthro/kemonomimi but they are mostly ferals.
They can have any type of ears and any type of tails.
Since the Familiar the child in the story once had was a Drake, all feral Refine Familiars have a sloped back that is lower at its hind legs.
Refined Familiars only have one form, they do not have a battle and neutral form like normal Familiars!
