Birds are a lot like people emotionally. They have their good moments and their bad. There are some days, like tonight, where all Tiki wants to do is be with me, and there there are days where he wants nothing to do with me and will squak and snap at me every time I get near him. Lot's of patience and understanding involved in owning a parrot. And forgiveness lol
I've thought about getting a pet bird before, but I've always had cats or stuff, and now I'm in the dorms, so I can't. If it's a matter of forgiveness/not minding the occasional snap, then I'm definitely just fine for owning a bird. All I know is that I definitely want something I can let out of its birdcage to explore sometimes.
