Felt like doing something really quick and messy.
When I say I like The Legend of Spyro games, what I really mean is that I like their aesthetic and ideas.
What a pity they were executed so, so poorly.

Yes! The best part of DotD.
The only one that doesn't feel really bad to play is Eternal Night. Everything about it is just so much better... In theory you'd think that anything that came after it would be better. NOPE.
Oh absolutely. And not just in those aspects. The character development was so awful too. Spyro says some truly stupid things and Cynder's newfound sassy attitude is just... Bad. It's really bad. I could go on and on and on about how bad it is and how I'd change it.
It is VERY messy. At least for me. XD Nothing is cleaned up, it's all pretty much scribbles. But thank you! C: It was a fun little exercise. I'm trying to loosen up.

Yes, you have a point there. The combat was ok, but not as fluid as the last two games. They scaled it back mostly.
Oh man, Spyro was kind of a bone head at certain points.
Major plot holes, some things could have been easily avoided. Cynder's attitude was passable at times, but her voice, while good was NOT what I was expecting. And yes, she should have been more of a stronger character.
Overall the production and story were rushed to coincide with Crash Bandicoot Mind Over Mutant.
I could also go on for hours on what would have been better!:D
I have kind of a special thing with this, since it was the games that really inspired me to draw officially in the first place, should really should start drawing them again soon.
Still this piece is very good, even for a scribble.XD I love the paint strokes and overall fluidity of it! Still trying to figure out how to do that.
Hope to see more!

Honestly, I don't think I'd recommend them. I played them when I was younger so they're kinda nostalgic for me (though I do think Eternal Night is legit good on merits the other two games lack) but, like... A New Beginning and Dawn of the Dragon are only good aesthetically and some of the ideas they had were really fun. Story, characters, gameplay... All of those are bad. Really bad. SO BAD. Eternal Night is the only one who comes close to getting it right and I think it does an alright job at getting it's point across, as well as being aesthetically pleasing.
I say watch a long play or something on Youtube for all three of them. You'll probably see what I mean.
