So I was doodling on this pic to loosen up for aggrobadger's commission because I've been stuck drawing wretched anthros and it gimps up my humans.. or in this case, humanoids.
Anyway, I drew Jasper the horrible undead guy (the ugly one with the creepy rape-smile) and his ungodly spawn, Benny. Then Ash (
carnivaldog) flew in and drew Benny's adoptive mom, Ebony, which I think is the best part of the whole picture.
I WILL PROBABLY NEVER, EVER FINISH THIS. At least not until commissions are done and I have real time to invest in it. Jasper and Benny are mine, ENOBY belongs to Ash.

Jasper looks a lot less monstery than in your old pictures - is it a concious design change, or a result of gaining more refined knowledge of human anatomy over the years?

Well, without colors, Jasper always looks a lot less monstrous. :V
But no, it's because I'm learning more about anatomy, especially in regards to faces. He's supposed to have a lantern jaw and a hooked nose, but boy I used to really overdo it. That's actually the way he's supposed to look, he just takes on a much more aged/grotesque aspect when he's colored.
Plus I have a habit of overstylizing his awful hatchet face. :V

Ah, I see! I thought that's what it might be - this looks like a 'less toony' version of him, though your coloring is realistic enough that older pictures only look toony at all in comparison to like.. this picture XD
I know the color adds a lot, I was talking about facial structure in this case n.n; But, I get it now! Thanks for answering my question :)

oh hay, for the sake of lulz and abject terror, I pooped literally five minutes worth of color onto his head.
