Field mouse bones (beetle cleaned, degreased and whitened) sit on a bed of sphagnum moss and natural river pebbles with a sprig of boreal forest fern. The fern (P. aquilinum) has been preserved with glycerin.
The bones came from the same naturally deceased wild mouse and include the skull, lower jaw, all four legs, shoulder blades and one intact paw complete with articulated digits.
A golden pheasant feather accents the glass vial along with a little golden brown tigers' eye stone and a bead of bright shiny copper. The vial hangs on an antiqued copper chain with a lobster clasp. The vial has been vacuumed sealed with a cork and should not be opened.
Available below, along with additional photos. USA sales only due to wildlife laws.
