Ahh.. Ninjara. My first serious furry crush. She was Raphael's girlfriend for a big long time, but she eventually ended up dumping him. Sucks that they broke up, they made a good couple and I really like Raph, but let's face it, he can be a real doodyhead.

Wow, I have not thought about Ninjara in years. Thanks for the trip down memory lane, Aubrin.
Also, I haven't gotten to see your shading much so I do want to point out that I think it looks really good here. It works well with the lighting, especially around Ninjara's legs and tail. I think it'd be nice to more pencil work from you in the future if you do them this well.
And this is great pose work too, both of the stances are very solid and the image has a very serious tone overall, which is pretty surprising because I think your style generally lends itself to more cartoon-esque work. Which could be due at least in part to the level of detail here, it's simple but effective particularly when it comes to Ninjara's clothes. I'm impressed with how well this turned out. ^^ Thanks for sharing it Aubrin, I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work in the future!

Actually, the original artist still had copyright control over her, and when they started doing things with her he didn't like, he rescinded their right to use her, and put her in his own comic.
