I drove right through Canadialand (that's right, I know the REAL name you guys try to keep secret from the Americans) on the way down to the Lower 48 from Alask. Specifically, I drove through the Yukon Territories, British Columbia, and Alberta. All three were equally beautiful, and wildlife was abundant. I counted no less than thirteen black bears in BC alone. One of them brushed against the grille of our Jeep when we stopped so he could cross the street to get to his buddy, who was literally just sitting there on a mound of dirt like an armchair, watching the cars go by.
