"a dog from japan!"

remember those shiba inus way back in my gallery? well, this is what came of those. even though terriers will always be my favorite, i have a special fondness for shiba inus. i guess this is my long past love affair with japan coming back to bite me!

meet TOBIKO! she's a shiba, obviously, of the black and tan variety. her tan is more red because of her name - tobiko is the name for flying fish roe in sushi (you know, the tiny, bright orange eggs?). i thought freckles would be appropriate with this name as well. :O the coloring reminds me of a bernese mountain dog, haha... but i like it anyway!

i am definitely going to make her into a suit, as the colors are easy to find. she'll be fun to accessorize, for sure.
