Alvin isn't quite the caliber of Frank, neither in his physical appearance nor his mixing skills but he is a much better entertainer, so he ha not trouble defending himself as the prime barkeeper of The Club.

Since his species is very prone to becoming as wide as they are tall, Alvin is extremely picky when it comes to food and exercising. Jogging to work and back home instead of taking the bus and really extensive and entertaining mixing.

Other than Frank he does not mind any advances patrons make towards him and occasionally had himself invited to private after hours, showing that it has perks to be a fit hippo.
