This took me about eight hours today, but that's alright... it's all I wanted to do today anyhow. This was practice... a warm-up. I don't know why, but out of all the stuff I've done recently this was the one I most wanted to color.

I inked the outline in Open Canvas, then went into PS for flat colors. I'd intended to export it back to OC or ArtRage to color the background... but then discovered that there was no way to do so that would not involve far more work than just doing it in PS.

The background is hand-painted in PS... I had a beach photo for reference and color samples.
