This is, hands-down, one of my favorite photographs I’ve ever taken of one of my favorite dolls I’ve ever made; so it’s officially a double-favorite. Everything about the photo itself and the doll it pictures is totally personal, totally unique, and totally me. Everything about making the doll and taking the picture are totally me. Basically this photo is an incredibly abstract self-portrait.

I took this picture at a local state park during one of my few free days without work, without a schedule or agenda, when I could totally go out and just be myself by myself without anybody but my dolls and nature to judge me. Well… My dolls, nature, and the random herd of bros scaling the rock-faces behind me - but I didn’t care about them.
