Realistic Shaded Custom Flight Rising Skin Commission for Rawiosu of DeviantArt of the gorgeous dragon Rathios, now in the form of an FR SkyDancer. :)
Rathios is such a pretty guy, and it was very fun to translate him into SkyDancer form! Rawiosu discussed the details, and decided that the SD matched the character the closest, even sporting crests in similar places. The most challenging part, of course, were those /square/ SD wings, and altering them to house Rathios' primary feathers. As much as I love the end results of these, the FR Skin Blueprints are so difficult to work with. But I'm learning. :P

Yep, that's exactly it - I just do my best to 'hide' the extraneous parts of the FR dragons to match the commissioner's character as closely as possible, yet still keeping them intact since the site requires it. :P Not sure if you've seen this one yet, but this is a more extreme example of how I do this: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16523068/ This one is in game and currently in my Lair. <3
