I decided to go ahead and do a full color of this image, since I had not drawn much of late and I wanted to practice a new style of coloring. Not entirely new, but the layering on the Sai file was very different from my usual.
Anyway, There's Arcana in the back, and her daughters Nidaja and Nita in the front. Nita was shorter than Nidaja from about the age of 8 on, despite being the older daughter (by a year). Nidaja was also always physically stronger, but Nita was more sociable and responsible. They are 14 and 15 respectively in this image. Arcana was rather tall and stately, even compared to the pair as adults (they would still be about four inches shorter than their mother if she were still around).

That's not the kind of thing I would reveal so early on. Let's say that it CAN be done, but there is something specific as a prerequisite that he may not know yet. :3 More to come on this. You can probably bet how he'd be received though. ^^Nita and Nidaja aren't the only one who have a history with a slave.
Speaking of shadowfall, there is a plot element which I don't understand:
Ellis was shadow fallen at about the same time as alps presumably in the same crystal (the one Manus had which he used on Alps and his mother) if she broke Alps out and they escaped to the nether why didn't she free Luna & Ceres as well? How come Ellis was still in the crystal when Alps first got back into the real world?

This is part of the element that I had not gone over yet. Ellis was an exception to the rule only because Alps did not encounter her FIRST in the Shadowfall, he encountered her first in the Nether. However, as a result, the two were irrevocably linked by their essence, so he would almost invariably encounter her again. Ellis did not break Alps out of the Shadowfall and allow him into the Nether. Alps broke his Shadowfall himself. Ellis broke her own Shadowfall as well, but did not have the ability to get back out of the Nether. Alps gained that ability but did not (for reasons yet to be explained) take her with him when he first gained the ability.
