"Floating along the horizon, some of the formations blend in with the expected geology... and then there are 'those' islands. Surfaces blanketed with lush vegetation like their compatriots, but dig only a few metres below, and what you find only unearths deeper curiosities: Spontaneous water generation despite recorded low rainfall. A myriad of odd sounds and vibrations. Undiscovered fauna and flora that could have never emerged in such an isolated environment. There is little depth to the knowledge we can fathom from such places, but at least we can appreciate these anomalies for making us want to explore and reclaim this broken world of ours."
