first drawing of one of my favourite ocs, Karyu. i won't tell his lifestory here, because he's the oc with the longest (and most interesting) story. just as much: he is now 24, he was a (work)slave until he was 21. he speaks only basic because he was raised among humans.
and he has a lot of issues. he has problems with his self-esteem (small wonder), and he is subject to wild mood swings that can get violent at times. he doesn't have himself under control a lot of the time. he beat his at the time-lover bloody more than once, afterwards he is the most miserable, gentlest being in the world, but still, it happened more than once, so there you see. he's violent against himself as well. Most of the time he spends training until he is completely exhausted (which is also a good way for him to keep himself in check).
but all that is due to a personality disorder.
apart from that, he has a great sense of justice, and he was never afraid to stand up against bullies, even at the academy. he can be very childish and innocent, especially where love is concerned. he's pretty awkward there most of the time. social life was never something he learned and he is only slowly getting there.
he's very much in tune with the force, but not consciously. he does have clairvoyant dreams, he usually doesn't realize it though.
a year ago, zascha noticed him standing up for a twi'lek apprentice who was being threatened by some humans, and took him in as his (first and only) apprentice.
since then, karyu has become somewhat calmer, and turned almost entirely light side. and after several months of mistrust they make a pretty good team now.
