Vesuko, one of two twins born upon their hatching. An Akkedis* like any other, he spent his life in the villages upon the treetops, making trade as a whunter and ranger with his brother. However, life's twisted ways tore the brothers apart, as his brother was accused of murder, bloody blade in his paw, severed tail of another in his other. Exiled from the village, Vesuko was constantly dogged by the questions, why his beloved brother would leave his senses so badly to commit not just murder, but exile an innocent Akkedis to Exile along with him by removing their tail.

It is not acceptable to speak of the Exiles, let alone seek them out. But his mind was made. Under guise of a pilgrimage, he set out to find his answers, and to find his brother. A tragic tale in the making? Perhaps so.

Going over the feather in his claw, the black, smooth plumage ... the sign of Exile of the Akkedis, black feathers that grow upon the Exile's regrown tail. He knows he's on the right track. To where his search for his quarry will take him, only fate knows this answer.

Another fantasy character of mine, written for the world of Thelus, a custom written world for text based RP and adventure, done by the Raven Mythic. Sadly in its third and final season, the story will come to a close soon. Vesuko was a minor character to the story overall, but a significant story in of itself of a search for truth, betrayal, loss, and revelation. Yet in it, his story came with joy, surprise, and a lighthearted feeling about him, even sometimes at the darkest hours.

I am sad the world is coming to a close, I loved Vesuko's story and wish to keep it going. Perhaps in another time in another place, he will live on once more, or his have his story retold in another setting.

*Akkedis are a feathered reptilian race in Thelus, capable of wind control for spectacular feats of flight. (If you're really curious, you can IM me for a link on their information) The creation of the Akkedis can be directly pointed to  Crocogator
