An overdue commission for my friend Sarah, who requested a Starsky and Hutch themed carebear.

I tried a ton of new tricks and techniques for this image, gradient shading and coloured outlines. I'm really happy with it, though I wish it looked a little more 'Starsky' like. I couldn't put the cardigan on him because it'd defeat the whole bellymark thing, and the perm? yeah, looked terrible on a big fat carebear head.

I think it looks a little professional, maybe, though. You know, in a retro 80s poster kind of way.

I'm going to print it out and frame it for Sarah. I think I'll do a Hutch in this style too facing the other way. They'd make an awesome couple o' framed pics.
