Here's something a little different.
So I was playing Minecraft, running solo through somebody's singleplayer city that they made, where I found a waterpark with some pools.
I jumped in to one (naturally), and while I was swimming around I thought it'd be neat to screencap it and use it as a background for a drawing. At first I was just going to doodle something on a canvas, then import it to the background, but I decided to just import the background and draw directly on it.
This meant I had to use a tiny brush compared to my usual, resulting in this pixelated look. I tried to use more sharp angles and straight lines to make it less curvy than my usual art.
I kind of like it. And it took way less time to make too. I think it'd make a great style for an underwater comic or something similar.
What do you guys think? Should I do that? If so, should I use more backgrounds like this in it?
Comments are appreciated, especially now. I wanna hear what you guys think. :3
