Taken this afternoon, Sugar does not want me working. Yes, a genuine Los Angeles freeway pursuit was going on at the time I took this. Yes, my desk is messy. As they say, "If a cluttered desk is the sign of a cluttered mind, what does an empty desk mean?" The jars with the greenery in them are the praying mantis containers.

There's a bit in the end credits of Inside Out that explains why cats behave the way they do. 83
I used to have a cat who would jump up onto the D&D table and lie on the dice for attention. He'd also hear a Cheese-It box being opened anywhere in the house and come running to coerce some out of us. I would wing them at him like little shuriken but he'd just sit there and eat the ones that bounced off his forehead along with all the others. 83

I got you beat for the "messiest desk" title....
Not that thats anything to brag about.
But the "Desk amoeba" is kept at bay only through the occasional sacrifice of a pen or eraser.
And it wants more.
But if it ever tries to demand blood, it gets the shotgun.
It knows this, and behaves itself.
