Mr. Ronald Jeremiah McDonald is a man of few secrets but nothing too dark and sinister in his background information... Well, aside that he's descended of the horrible Deep Ones, an ocean-dwelling species of great physical variety with penchants for mating with humans (mostly without the human's consent) as well as eating them. They are also well known for participating dark rituals in worship of the Great Old Ones and the eldest and largest of their race, Father Dagon and Mother Hydra. Ron himself, however, is atypical of his species in a fair few ways.

While Ronald very strongly bears the resemblance of his monstrous heritage, and he has well above human strength, he very much shuns the followings of the Deep Ones, having only participated in such horrid practices through peer pressure when he was younger. Of course, he does have a human mate, but Mrs. McDonald is a happy and willing bride.

He's loved his Rebecca - and Rebecca's loved him - since back in their years at Innsmouth High, and they have stayed together through the disapproval - as well as attempts on their lives - from their peers, and hard times staying afloat after they ran away from Innsmouth and eloped. Nearly a decade and a half together has only made his love for Mrs. McDonald stronger, and they have a wonderful life together with their two adopted daughters, Lucy and Ethel, with Ron supporting them through a very well-paid position as an I.T. specialist the company Landrum, Westlake and Stockman, working out of his home office. Ron may be a Deep One Hybrid, but he's also a highly intelligent, clever man - and you can rest assured that he knows he has it good.

Ron McDonald was created by my boyfriend, and is a character in my M.E.A. project... Really, there is nothing I don't love about this. His skin looks fantastic (though it took us a bit to peg just what shade of green-gray he'd be), and the scaling texture she drew in is just wonderful - and not something I had thought to ask for, so that's even better. This and the next one I'll be posting of another character are my favorite pieces from this batch of head shots... Of course, the alternate piece is also in the gallery. It too is nice, but I prefer this one for being closest to Ron's skin tone.
