Whew, sorry for the delay, people. Finally got a few days off, if you read my journal, MOST of the stress is taken care of, and I wanted to give you guys some more chapters.
For a moment, you can picture Jeremy's tail as it slides between your lips and the bulge in your throat as he heads down to his final resting place in your stomach. Honestly, he might not even object; the way the guy talks, you could be making his life complete! However, you soon shove the idea out of your mind. The guy's been a great help so far, and maybe he'll be just as helpful in the future!
You flop down on the couch and make yourself comfortable. Jeremy soon flops down next to you and lets out a happy sigh. "So, Jeremy, what's up with you? You said when we first met that you were going to college here, and here you are living in this... uh, wonderfully comfortable apartment."
Jeremy smiles, his cheeks turning red at what he preceives as a compliment. "Well, if you can't tell, I was never the most popular guy growing up. I spent most of my time playing video games and surfing the internet. When I graduated from high school, I decided to study video game design, and the college here has a pretty good introductory course. However, they've got a pretty strong atheletic program too, so there's a lot of jocks around."
"So you still get bullied a bit, huh?" You remember the car full of jerks on the road that were throwing things at Jeremy as they drove by.
"Well yeah, between the fact that I get good grades and the fact that I'm a geek, I do get roughed up a bit." He sighs and flips on the TV with a remote before picking up a controller and turning on a system that looks so old you're surprised it hasn't fallen apart.
You watch him play for nearly an hour and marvelling at his skills. If he spent as much time mastering his real life as much as he did these video games, he could probably given even Liladen a run for his money. "So, uh, do you ever try standing up for yourself?" you say, breaking the silence.
"Once or twice, it just got me beaten up more." Jeremy chuckles and offers you the controller, which you politely decline. "I wish I could take care of my problems like you do, Rasko. You've got a pretty awesome way of dealing with those kinds of people."
You shrug and put on a confident face. "What can I say? I'm awesome." Putting your arm around his shoulders, you smirk. "What, you want me to take care of a few of your bullying issues?"
The lizard snickers and leans against you. "That would be awesome, but I don't want to get you into any trouble."
"Nah, no one's going to mess with me." What you neglect to mention is that in your new, unfamiliar anthromorphoic form, you might not be as untouchable as you were, but hey, he doesn't need to know that, right? Listening to Jeremy ramble on for a few minutes more, you start to feel bad for this kid. Maybe he doesn't need someone to take care of him, maybe he needs to learn how to be a predator himself! After all, what's that old saying? Something about giving a man a fishing pole so that he can eat a meal? Then again, if he tries to eat someone, he might just end up a meal himself. At least if you took care of it, he wouldn't be in any danger.... Man, this decision is making your head hurt, maybe you should just eat this kid. He's a lot of trouble!
"Hey Jeremy..."

Although I would normally agree with the "Teach a man to fish", logic and teach him to defend himself, however I'm just going to go against the grain. Besides, making a potential predator of him could have potential repercussions as well, not to say the other side of the coin wouldn't. After all including a third party getting involved could make or break situations.
Normally I would say, 'What if we don't know the whole story. What if he's just a stressed out gossiper talking behind folks backs and blowing things out of proportions?'
Either way, we best leave it to our pro- >> "...Let me take care of those guys for you..."
