Wolf-wind on DA always does interesting contests, and I always try and enter. This time the theme is Autumn. When I think of autumn I think of the deer in rut. I also wanted an excuse to draw deer again. Windy's Shakan is a young pup/joker, so he and the normally grumpy Eagle make fun of the prancy prance stags from afar.
It's nice to feel like I've taken a long time to do a picture, rather than churning stuff out in an afternoon or two.
